On 12th May, more than 30 military medical experts from the Medical Service Directorate of the Logistic Support Department of the Central Military Commission, General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army , Indonesia Armed Forces Surgeon General Office,Medical Service Directorate from each Service Headquarter, RSPAD Gatot Subroto Hospital, Wisma Athlete Emergency Hospitale, Military Hospitals in Surabaya and Yogyakarta held a video conference on diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 patients. B.G. Kuat Budiman, Indonesian Defence Attaché and Colonel Zhao Yunfei, Chinese Deputy Defence Attaché participated and deliver remarks separately from Beijing and Jakarta.

The Chinese side was hosted by Senior Colonel Li Rui, Chief of International Cooperation & Exchanges Office, Medical Service Directorate, LSD CMC. Experts from China gave brief introductions on PLA's Experience on COVID-19 Respons, Construction and Management of the Makeshift Hospitals, COVID-19 Virus Rapid Test and answered questions from the Indonesian side on Using Steroid, Plasma and Herbal Medicine on Diagnosis and Treatment of COVID-19 patients. While the Indonesian side was hosted by Colonel Nurrobi, Section Chief of International Cooperation of TNI Surgeon General Office, gave a brief introduction on Current Situation of COVID-19 in Indonesia. Both sides discussed the Influence of Environment and Temperature for COVID-19.

Participants from Indonesia side offered congratulations to China on the victory of the battle against COVID-19 and expressed thanks for Chinese Military to host this kind of experiences sharing platform, the video conference is very timely, pragmatic, professional and successful. They hoped both sides could carry out more practical cooperation to further strengthen bilateral pragmatic military cooperations.
