  On the occasion of your assumption of the office of the Vice President of Republic of Indonesia, I wish to express to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations and best wishes.

China and Indonesia are the friendly neighbors and there is a long-standing traditional friendship between our two peoples. In recent years, on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence, the friendly exchange and cooperation in political, economic, trade and other fields between China and Indonesia have achieved remarkable progress, the relationship between the two countries has kept a good momentum. I would like to make concerted efforts, together with Your Excellency to further promote the development of relationship of good-neighborliness, mutual trust and all-round cooperation between our two countries.
