The two heads of state together summarized the successful experience of the development of bilateral relations, mapped out bilateral future cooperation and agreed to inherit the past and look into the future based on the development of the friendly relations over the last 65 years so as to jointly advance bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era and contribute to regional and global peace, stability and prosperity.

Xi Jinping welcomed Joko Widodo to visit China and attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2015. He pointed out that China and Indonesia, as the first and the fourth largest countries in terms of population as well as the first and the third largest developing countries respectively, are strategically interdependent and economically complementary and enjoy a huge potential in mutually beneficial cooperation. When meeting at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting last year, we agreed to turn the high-level positioning of bilateral relations into tangible results as soon as possible to better benefit the two peoples. Your visit is on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relationship, which will surely advance bilateral practical cooperation in all areas in an in-depth manner.

Xi Jinping stressed that China and Indonesia face similar tasks in realizing national development and improving people's livelihood. The two countries should constantly enhance strategic mutual trust, keep the momentum of high-level exchanges, well build bilateral cooperation mechanisms, boost bilateral cooperation between political parties and bilateral exchanges between local governments and exchange experience in governance and administration of state affairs. China will make the best of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the Silk Road Fund and others to support Indonesia to develop the "Maritime Highway", and will actively participate in the construction of ports, high speed railways, airports and coastal economic special zones as well as the ship-building sector. Both sides should deepen cooperation in such fields as ocean, economy, trade, energy, electric power, agriculture, fishery, science, technology and aerospace, and speed up the construction of comprehensive industrial parks. China would also encourage more Chinese enterprises to join Indonesia's development drive and is ready to expand two-way investment with Indonesia and expand cooperation in capacity. Both sides should enhance cooperation in defense and law enforcement and jointly fight against transnational crime. Both sides should together plan and ensure success of relevant commemorations for the 65th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relationship , and strengthen exchanges and cooperation in youth, religion and academia. China will support Indonesia in its commemorative events for the 60th anniversary of the Bandung Conference, and promote mutual understanding and deepen cooperation among Asian and African countries thus to achieve common development. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the world anti-fascist war, and it is hoped that both countries could jointly carry out relevant commemorations and maintain world peace.

Joko Widodo expressed that linked geographically, Indonesia and China are close friends. The international economic and political configuration has changed dramatically since the beginning of the 21st Century, therefore, the major developing countries including Indonesia and China should play a greater role in international affairs. All countries should take advantage of the 70th anniversary of the victory of World War II to call on an end of violence and resolve hotspot problems through dialogue. Indonesia is looking forward to President Xi Jinping's attendance of the commemorative events for the 60th anniversary of the Bandung Conference. At present, both Indonesia and China are devoted to developing economy and improving people's livelihood, enjoying high complementarity and broad prospect in bilateral cooperation. Indonesia welcomes Chinese state-owned and private enterprises to take part in infrastructure construction including ports, airports and dams as well as construction of special economic zones. It is hoped that both sides could expand the scale of currency swap and strive to reach a bilateral trade volume of 150 billion USD by 2020, and more Chinese tourists are welcomed to visit Indonesia thus to expand social and cultural exchanges. Indonesia will boost cooperation with China in anti-corruption, anti-terrorism, law enforcement, and fighting against transnational crime.
