On October 23, 2009, H. E. Mr. Dai Bingguo, the State Councilor of People's Republic of China, and H. E. Mr. Yang Jiechi, the Chinese Foreign Minister respectively send messages of congratulation to H.E. Mr. Djoko Suyanto, and H.E. Dr. R. Mohammad Marty Muliana Natalegawa, on their assumption of office as the Coordinating Minister for political, legal and Security Affair and the Foreign Minister of Republic of Indonesia. In the letter they said that China and Indonesia are friendly neighbors. To strengthen the strategic partnership between China and Indonesia serves the fundamental interest of the people of both countries, and is also conducive to the peace, stability and prosperity of this region and the world at large. Nowadays, China- Indonesia relations have maintained a good momentum of growth. The two countries have established deep political mutual trust, developed blooming cooperation in various fields and kept good coordination on regional and international issues. The Chinese side is willing to work together with Indonesian side to promote the continuous development of the China-Indonesia relations.
