After the establishment of the new government of Pakistan, China-Pakistan relations have achieved smooth transition and good start under the joint efforts of both sides. The Chinese side pays high attention to the visit paid by Prime Minister Imran Khan. It is believed that the leaders of the two countries will surely promote China-Pakistan relations to a new stage through strategic communication. Both sides should continue to firmly support the core interests and major concerns of each other, steadily advance the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and assist Pakistan in elevating the level of industrialization as well as independent and sustainable development capacity to benefit local people. The Chinese side will continue to provide support and assistance for economic and social development as well as national building of Pakistan within its capacity.
