An Handover Ceremony of 60 sets Prefabricated Houses donated and built by China to Indonesia, will be held on Thursday, December 21^st, 2006 at 10: 00 -11:30 a.m. at Sumatra Room of Shangri-la Hotel.

 

The housing project, worth of 7.5 million USD, is one of the largest projects committed by Chinese Government after Tsunami in Aceh reconstruction effort.

 

H.E. Mr. Lan Lijun, Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia will sign the letter of Handover of assistance and deliver a speech on behalf of the Chinese Government while H.E. Mr. Ir. Aburizal Bakrie, Coordinating Minister of People's Welfare will represent the Indonesian Government to sign the letter and deliver a speech.

 

Mr. Kuntoro, the Chairman of BRR and leaders from Aceh Province will attend the ceremony. A whole set of pictures of the donated houses will be displayed during the ceremony.
