On October 26th, the one million Sinovac vaccines donated by the Chinese government to the Indonesian government arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Usman Kansong, Director General of Information and Public Communication, delivered remarks via video link.

Usman said that today has seen the arrival of one million Sinovac vaccines donated by the Chinese government, a meaningful event that marks the 100th batch of vaccines received by the Indonesian government from foreign countries so far. It is the support and help of many countries including China that makes Indonesia one of the most-vaccinated in the world. He expressed gratitude and appreciation for the vaccine support given by the Chinese government.

The one million doses of vaccines is a new effort made by the Chinese government to support Indonesia's fight against COVID-19 following the recent donation of medical supplies to the Indonesian government, including 120 ventilators, 400 oxygen generators last August and one million doses of vaccines last September.
