Notice Regarding the Issuance of Biometric Visas
2021/01/26
In accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and international practices, the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia will collect all ten fingerprints from visa applicants including Indonesian citizens from February 3, 2021, and simultaneously issue biometric visas. The following visa applicants can be exempt from fingerprint collection:

1. Persons under the age of 14 or over 70;
2. Persons whose ten fingers are all missing or whose ten fingerprints cannot be kept;
3. In accordance with the principle of reciprocity, those who hold diplomatic passports or meet the requirements of China's diplomatic, official, and courteous visas.

All visa applicants are requested to complete and truthfully fill in the Chinese Visa Application Form online in accordance with current regulations (Chinese Visa Application Service Center website link: http://bio.visaforchina.org/JKT2_EN/) and book a date and time for submitting visa materials.
Please be informed that all applicants should have their fingerprints collected in person. Any false or incomplete record of fingerprints, or retention of fingerprints that do not belong to themselves, is equivalent to obtaining a visa by fraud, which will result in the rejection of the visa application or the refusal to enter China, and all consequences arising therefrom shall be borne by the concerned party.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
