Chinese Embassy in Indonesia Announcement on the Use of Electronic Application Form and Online Appointment System for Chinese Visa Application
2020/07/29
In order to further standardize visa application and provide better visa services, the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia will start to use the "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" (electronic version) and online visa application appointment system starting from the 1st of August 2020, and simultaneously, will no longer accept the old version of paper visa application form as well as visa applications without online booking. The arrangements are as follows:

  1. All foreigners who apply for Chinese visa (excluding Hong Kong and Macao SAR visa) should log in to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center website https://bio.visaforchina.org/JKT2_EN, download and print the " Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" (electronic version) and "Chinese Visa Online Filling Confirmation Page", and with the application number beginning with JKT, make an appointment online for the date and time of visa documents submission to the visa center.

  2. "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" (electronic version) is an important document for foreigners who wish to apply for a visa. The applicant must complete the required fields in the application form truthfully, and bear all legal liabilities concerning its authenticity. Any false or incomplete content, or uploading of photo that is not your self, equals to falsification (alteration) of documents, therefore obtaining a visa by fraud, which may result in the visa application being rejected or the refusal to enter China. After completing all information and checking its accuracy, the applicant should sign the declaration on the "Chinese Visa Online Filling Confirmation Page" and "Visa Application Form" (item 9.1).

  3. Submission of applicant's valid passport and other required supporting materials related to the purpose of going to China remains unchanged.
