Ambassador Xiao Qian Welcomes MV.Yuanwang-7 Instrumentation Ship

On 25 September, China's MV. Yuanwang-7 instrumentation ship arrived at Tanjung Priok Port of Jakarta . Ambassador Xiao Qian, Counsellor Pan Yonglu and other representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia greeted the crew at the port. Over 100 representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, Chinese enterprises and local Chinese communities visited the ship.

After the welcoming ceremony, Ambassador Xiao Qian embarked MV.Yuanwang-7 instrumentation ship and held a meeting with leading officials of the China Satellite Maritime Tracking and Control Department and the MV. Yuanwang-7 instrumentation ship. Ambassador Xiao warmly welcomed the MV.Yuanwang-7 instrumentation ship’s berthing at Tanjung Priok Port of Jakarta, and congratulated the ship’s success in TT&C activities. Ambassador Xiao said that the bilateral relationship between China and Indonesia is keeping a very good momentum, our two countries have made positive progress in aerospace cooperation. He hoped that China Satellite Maritime Tracking and Control Department could enhance cooperation with the Indonesian counterparts and make more contribution to China-Indonesia relationship.

MV. Yuanwang-7 instrumentation ship is the most advanced comprehensive ship of China for satellite maritime tracking and control. Before coming to Jakarta, the ship has successfully completed two tracking and control missions in Indonesian waters.
